Close Patrols

Please contact the Milam County Sheriff's Office if you are planning to leave your home for extended trips or vacations.  We will add it to a list of "close-patrols" and deputies will make attempts throughout their shift to stop by and make sure everything is safe.  Be sure to pass on any special instructions or details such as names of persons who may stop by to feed animals or have business at the location.   

We try to check on close patrol locations at least twice in a 24 hour period of time, however frequency of the checks will vary depending on the number of requests we have received.
